<p>We are happy to present volume 9 of Puls, this one without any specific theme. Our Guest Editor for this issue, professor Owe Ronstr&#x00F6;m, has yet found a common thread through the articles that he expands upon in his Guest Editorial below. He also discusses the wide scope of this journal, just as of the disciplines of ethnomusicology and -choreology in Sweden. The wide scope of Puls is also reflected in the twelve book reviews edited by professor Alf Arvidsson.</p>
<p>Puls has moved its publication website to the Swedish platform Publicera, for scholarly online journals, hosted by the National Library of Sweden. This is a welcome upgrade to the journal, that comes with better articulated and framed information about the journal&#x2019;s policies, instructions, and terms. Except for the usual full pdf of each volume, the platform provides the articles as separate pdf files as well as in XML format with DOI-numbers. Publicera will also make the editorial process a lot smoother and more efficient, as all authors, anonymous reviewers and editors will communicate and send texts and comments through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) accessible at the journal&#x2019;s website.</p>
<p>For each issue, the language of the journal&#x2019;s contributions becomes to a larger extent English, which is good for the dissemination of Scandinavian ethnomusicology and ethnochoreology and for the scholarly discussion in all. However, we also embrace the idea of having a quality outlet for scholarly texts in the Scandinavian languages. We see it as particularly important to keep alive the scholarly vocabulary of ethnomusicology and ethnochoreology in these languages.</p>
<p>The Call for Papers of the next volume is out, with a deadline 16 August. Check current information and all previous volumes of Puls at <ext-link ext-link-type="uri" xlink:href="https://publicera.kb.se/puls">https://publicera.kb.se/puls</ext-link>.</p>
<p>As the General Editor of Puls, I would like to thank all the patient authors of articles, reviews and conference reports! Without your valuable contributions, we wouldn&#x2019;t have had this interesting journal. I am also very grateful to the priceless efforts of all the peer reviewers, editors and proofreaders, so generous with their expertise, scrutiny and time.</p>
<p>Now, enjoy the reading of Puls volume 9! &#x25A0;</p>
