In this first special issue of CIWIL we invite articles that contribute to knowledge about Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) for global engagement and societal development. In the light of the increasingly global and rapidly changing world, the importance of knowledge creation and learning from a life-long perspective is a critical consideration for a more sustainable future. ......
