Open Access Policy

All content in Journal of Nordic Archaeological Science is published with immediate open access. Readers do not need to pay or register to access the content.

No manuscript submission fees or publishing fees are charged.

Subscription to the print edition of the journal costs 150 SEK, 100 SEK student rate. To subscribe or obtain back issues, please fill in the order form and email it to jonas@arklab.su.se.

Authors are encouraged to deposit the final published version of their article for self-archiving (on their personal website) and/or archiving in an institutional repository immediately after publication.

COPYRIGHT

Authors of content published in Journal of Nordic Archaeological Science retain copyright to their works.

If you wish to reuse material from Volumes 1 and 2, please contact the journal for information about the applicable copyright status.

Copyright for content in Volumes 3 – 7 is held by the authors.

Copyright for content in Volumes 8 – 20 is held by the Archaeological Research Laboratory.

Articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons license CC BY-NC 4.0, which means that the material may be freely shared — for example, copied and redistributed — in any medium or format, but only for non-commercial purposes. The material may also be adapted, for example translated or built upon, but not for commercial use.

Proper credit must be given, a link to the license provided (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/deed.en), and any changes clearly indicated.

Content published in volumes 1-20 was published without a Creative Commons license.
