Publishing fees: No publishing fees are charged.
Publication frequency: Beginning in 2025, Samlaren follows the continuous publication model, under which articles are published online as soon as they are ready. Articles are collected in a single annual volume, which will also be printed upon completion.
Funding: Funding is typically sought from the Swedish Research Council. Special initiatives for digitization have been financed by the Swedish Academy. The Department of Literature and Rhetoric at Uppsala University supports the society's work with the journal by granting a limited number of hours for editorial duties. In addition, subscription fees from the society's members (both individuals and institutions) contribute to the funding.

About the Journal
Samlaren is the oldest literature journal in Sweden, published since 1880 by the Swedish Society of Literature, seated in Uppsala. The journal is published as a yearbook containing an article section and a review section. Its intended primary audience comprises scholars and teachers in the field of literature.
