All content in Samlaren is published with immediate open access, which means that users do not need to pay or register to read the content.
The printed edition of Samlaren is distributed to members of the Swedish Society of Literature once a year. The subscription fee is 230 SEK/year for individuals, 300 SEK/year for Swedish institutions, 400 SEK/year for foreign institutions, and 200 SEK/year for students.
Authors of content published in Samlaren retain the copyright to their works.
For volumes 1 through 142, copyright is held jointly by the respective authors and Samlaren.
Articles are published under the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license, which allows material to be freely shared—for example, copied and redistributed—in any medium or format, for any purpose, including commercial use. The material may also be modified, for example, translated or built upon, for any purpose, including commercial use.
Proper attribution must be given, a link to the license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/deed.en) must be provided , and any modifications must be clearly indicated.

About the Journal
Samlaren is the oldest literature journal in Sweden, published since 1880 by the Swedish Society of Literature, seated in Uppsala. The journal is published as a yearbook containing an article section and a review section. Its intended primary audience comprises scholars and teachers in the field of literature.
