Abstract

In March 2000 the thesis Trade Secrets - today and in the future was defended at Stockholm University. This article is a reflection on the thesis, both considering the contributions at the time and considering what has happened since. The thesis included a comparison between the legislation in four different jurisdictions,, all members of the EU. The EU-directive on Trade Secrets has changed the protection in Europe, but some of the key findings are still relevant.
