Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • I, the submitting author, warrant that I am authorised by any and all co-authors to submit this version of the manuscript, according to the journal's guidelines for publication, including distribution with a CC license, and to be their spokesperson during the review process and thereafter.
  • All authors qualify as authors, as defined in the authorship guidelines, and have given permission to be listed on the submitted paper.
  • The manuscript has not been previously published in the current version, nor is it currently before another journal for consideration. If the manuscript has been published in an earlier version, this must be clearly stated; see the journal’s policy. (Feel free to enter an explanation in the ‘Comments to the Editor’ box, if relevant.)
  • The submitting author has entered his or her ORCiD identification number in the author data. Any co-authors have been advised to also provide such, in accordance with the journal’s policy.
  • All material presented in the manuscript for which the copyright is held by a third party has been produced in a correct manner, and the required permissions have been obtained from the author(s).
  • The text follows the stylistic and bibliographic requirements stated in the author guidelines.
  • Where applicable, the research has been reviewed by an appropriate ethics committee and the name of the committee and the approval reference number have been included in the submitted file.

JOURNAL SECTIONS

Snow Leopard Reports welcomes three types of contributions: Research Notes, Short Notes and Notes from the Conservation Frontline. You can find more information about each of these categories and the submission process in the Author Guidelines. All contributions will be peer-reviewed.

News

This is a call for any News pieces to be considered for the Second issue of Snow Leopard Reports (coming out Feb/March 2024). Please consider sharing any relevant updates or news related to the scope of the journal Snow Leopard Reports (previously unpublished information, up to 200 words). 

Text Body (≤200 words)

  • A recent update (<1 year) in snow leopard conservation or science that has not been published elsewhere  
  • A News piece should be no more than 200 words (all inclusive)
  • Ensure a line spacing of 1.5 and line numbering
  • Do not have sections within the text
