Hälsoundersökning av adoptivbarn

Abstract

Adoption av utländska barn har förekommit sedan slutet av 1950-talet. Drygt 45 000 adoptivbarn har fram till idag kommit till Sverige från andra länder. Hälsoundersökning bör erbjudas anpassad till adoptivbarnens speciella behov. Dessa görs framför allt på olika barnmedicinska mottagningar i landet. Nationell kartläggning uppvisar såväl likheter som olikheter rörande hälsoundersökningens innehåll. Barnmedicinska mottagningar har egna utformade undersökningsschema. Det vore här lämpligt med en större enhetlighet i landet.
International adoption has occurred in Sweden since the end of the 1950s. Since this time, around 45 000 adopted children have come to Sweden from other countries. A medical examination adapted to the special needs of the adopted children should be offered. These are mainly carried out at different paediatric clinics across the country. National mapping shows similarities as well as differences in the content of these medical examinations. The paediatric clinics have different examination schedules.
