Förebyggande arbete i lokalsamhället: Exempel från Karlskrona

Abstract

Hälsotorg har utvecklats till en mötesplats där befolkningen kan få tillgång till lättillgänglig information och aktiviteter som främjar hälsa. Den strategiska geografiska placeringen, mångfalden av aktiviteter och den mångkulturella personalen gör Hälsotorget Kungsmarksplan lättillgänglig och attraktiv för grupper som normalt inte besöker friskvård inrättningar. Hälsotorget Kungsmarksplan har en stor potential till att vara ett komplement till hälso- och sjukvården i folkhälsoarbetet och särskilt bland personer med utländsk härkomst.
Health Square has evolved into a meeting place where people have easy access information and activities that promote health. With it’s strategic geographical position, wide range of activities and the multi-cultural personnel Kungsmarksplan Health Square has shown to be an attractive and easily accessible to groups that normally do not visit health promoting centres. Kungsmarksplan Health Square has a great potential to complement the health service’s public health work, especially among foreign persons in Sweden.
