Call for Papers to a Special Issue on: Shaping the future landscape of Work-Integrated Learning
In this special issue of CIWIL we invite articles that contribute to knowledge about Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) in the perspective of shaping the future landscape of WIL. WIL needs to embrace challenges and opportunities to stand its accuracy and excellence for future development. The following three dimensions are especially highlighted to be suitable for this special issue, however submissions are not limited/binding to these:
- Developing WIL's Scope: The future of work-integrated learning calls for a shift beyond traditional models, recognizing learning as pervasive across diverse social and professional contexts, challenging us to expand our understanding of where and how knowledge develops.
- Transdisciplinary Transformation: Integrating insights from social sciences and humanities, WIL must evolve into a space that critically examines the complex interplay between work and learning, fueling societal innovation and ongoing adaptation.
- Collaborative Innovation: Shaping the future of WIL requires bold collaboration among scholars, practitioners, and policymakers—co-creating strategies that address emerging challenges and foster societal renewal in a rapidly changing world.
