A new issue is out about teacher- student experiences, mental health issues, and institutional regimes.
We are delighted to announce that we just published our new issue, JPHE Vol. 7 No, 2, 2025.
This issue offers a broad variety of perspectives on praxis in higher education. In the opening paper “Expanding Opportunity Spaces: Students as Co-Creators of Learning Environments”, Holen, Wallin and Gjøtterud discuss student engagemang in learning activities. The second paper by Cox, concerns “Vulnerability and Voice: Mental Health as a Site of Praxis”, and in the third paper by Nestlog, Uddling and Thyberg “Literacy as Praxis: Negotiating Discourses in Teacher Education” they highlight the domain of teacher education. In the fourth paper, “Transparency and Equity: Praxis in the Public Face of Admissions”, by Fryer, Jones and Zhang they examine the transparency in UK undergraduate admissions.
Finally, in our Notes from the field, about "Conscious Reflection: Contemplative Practice and Transformative Phenomenology", Strohmayr and Jones explore how so called contemplative practice can scaffold graduate students’ development of praxis.
