Abstract

This article describes practice and experiences learned from the development work that was carried out within the project “Talk about life” during the academic year 2020/2021 at one high school, a junior high school and a unit within the municipal activity responsibility in the city of Helsingborg. The purpose of the development work was to promote the students spiritual health by producing methods and material that can facilitate reflection and conversation about spiritual topics. The development work was implemented in co-creative and iterative processes together with students, teachers and student health professionals. The processes showed that both adults and young people appreciated talking about spiritual topics. However it is important to use methods and material that fit the context. Identified factors of success were unpretentiousness, simplicity and playfulness.
