Summer reading

Dear readers,

We are delighted to announce two upcoming issues that we believe will offer engaging and high-quality content.

The first issue will be published just as many of us begin our summer break, so keep an eye out. This open issue; 2026, 8(1), focuses on students' perspectives, conditions, opportunities, and reflections on praxis in higher education.

This autumn, JPHE will also publish an exciting special issue (2026, 8(2)) on the corporate university, featuring eight Swedish case studies. These contributions address topics such as doctoral supervision, leadership, language requirements, policy implementation, student participation, collegiality, and aspects of academic freedom.
