Abstract

In this open issue without a given theme, most of the articles discuss musical phenomena in a culturally Nordic context. This will probably look different in our next volume with its theme of Music and Minorities, just like the joint international symposium for which Svenskt visarkiv was the main organiser in October 2021. After two postponed dates due to the pandemic, the conference finally took place as an IRL event, albeit half of the participants still joined digitally.
