The number of Master's programmes in public health in Sweden remains the same as in 2017, with nine programmes offered at nine Swedish higher education institutions. These programmes address various needs for specialised expertise in public health through courses in epidemiology, health economics, and project management, as well as specialisations in areas such as e-health and societal perspectives on public health. Courses are also available on specific public health issues and target groups, including children, the elderly, and migrants. Flexible formats and distance learning options make some programmes accessible to professionals.
