Abstract

Interpreting narrative testimonies can increase understanding of how the COVID-19 pandemic affected healthcare workers both mentally and physically. In this article, we investigate some of the work related and existential difficulties doctors faced during the pandemic in terms of personal health and wellbeing. The article draws on some of the stories that were published in an American context during the pandemic years.
