Abstract

This study is the first of its kind and suggests that tactile massage may have a positive impact on certain core symptoms of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), such as hyperactivity, impulsivity, inattention, and defiance, as well as contribute to improved sleep in adolescents diagnosed with ADHD (Robertz et al., 2024). The results are preliminarily promising and indicate that the method may be a potential complementary approach to existing treatments.
