Tvärvetenskap - nya perspektiv i musikforskningen?
Abstract
During the last thirty years, musicological methods have diversified tremendously, incorporating knowledge from sociology, psychology, anthropology, feminism, cultural studies etc. Music today is largely experienced in combination with visual, scenographic and/or spatial effects - music videos, film, theatre, spectacular concerts, artand dance performances etc. The article discusses questions of interdisciplinarity, and from her own experience of a two-perspective work on musical space, the author argues for a development of interaesthetic analytical tools and strategies to meet with the expanding concept of music and musical reality.
