The article examines free churches as sites of transformative learning, where conversion is understood as an ongoing, relational process rather than a singular event. Drawing on theories of transformative learning and a pedagogical stance characterized by openness, curiosity and attentiveness, the article analyzes how free church meeting places, exemplified by language cafés, can foster depth, breadth and stability in learning processes. The study addresses the questions: "How can conversion be understood as an ongoing transformative learning process in free church meeting places?" and "How is the pedagogical stance that enables such learning expressed?" The findings show that conversion, understood as a lifelong process, encompasses existential, intellectual and embodied dimensions, in which community and dialogue are central. This pedagogical stance can enable inclusive and learning-oriented encounters where people are able to challenge their perspectives and deepen their faith in a pluralistic context. Furthermore, it can facilitate transformative conversion in a multicultural society, where the goal is to deepen faith together and live in faith, rather than to "reach" others as separate objects. This perspective opens up a deepened and inclusive faith that permeates all of life, rather than being confined to the walls of the church or to a one-time event.
