The daily life of families with allergic children is patterned by the allergies. The food allergies create a disorder and an abnormality despite their increasing commonness among people in general, and the question is how families manage to create and lead their daily life in spite of or with the allergies. How they reach a sense of order and normality and make their own lives working. One hindrance for accomplishing this is the common western view of the body, where the healthy, non-sick, body is desirable and set as normality. The allergic children are taught a different normality and a different order by which they learn to accept and deal with their illness in a "natural" way.
