Abstract

This issue of Kulturella Perspektiv is the result of a workshop at The 31st Nordic Ethnology and Folklore conference, Helsinki. What is the status and usability of the concept of culture in European ethnology? With what theoretical ideas and methodological techniques would it be possible to take cultural analysis one step further? These questions are discussed and elaborated in the six articles of this issue.
