Blue Humanities: Storied Waterscapes in the Anthropocene and An Introduction to the Blue Humanities

Researcher at the Division of History of Science, Technology and Environment at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a visiting scholar at Scripps Institution of Oceanography at University of California San Diego. Her research interests include environmental history, history of ocean science and governance, environmental narratives, and energy history. She is co-Editor-in-Chief of the new journal Anthropocene History, and a member of the Anthropocene Working Group. She also works across marine science and policy-making as a member of the Deep-Ocean Stewardship Initiative. Her latest research article is titled “Deep differences: expanding the marine social sciences and humanities into the deep ocean” and appears in npj Ocean Sustainability.
