Abrahams upplevelse av teofani i 1 Mosebokens narrativ och dess receptionshistoria

Denna artikel fokuserar på Abrahams och Saras reaktioner inför teofaniupplevelser i 1 Mos 12–22 och också på hur Jesus ord i Joh 8:56 relaterar till Abraham. Först analyseras berättelsen i Första Mosebok och därefter genomförs en receptionshistorisk undersökning med nedslag i Jesaja, den tidiga judiska litteraturen, Nya testamentet och slutligen Justinus Dialog med Tryfon. Joh 8:56 bygger på Abrahams implicita och explicita reaktioner i berättelsen, men reflekterar också en tradition som exempelvis Jubileerboken avspeglar. Termen ”att se/visa” fungerar som en länk som binder samman Joh 8:56 med de tre tydliga teofanierna i Första Mosebokens berättelser samt med Abrahams glädjeuttryck i den övriga litteratur som har granskats. Utifrån detta kan en vag anspelning på Joh 8:56 identifieras i Dialog med Tryfon.
